Terms and Conditions SEMINAR REGISTRATION

You can register for a seminar online via the MED-TRONIK GmbH homepage www.med-tronik.de. If you do not have internet access, we ask for written notification of the full name of the participant, the complete company and billing address along with telephone and fax numbers as well as a corresponding e-mail address so that we can send you the confirmation of registration.

You will receive an automatic written confirmation of registration from us with details about the seminar, an invoice as well as directions, and a list of hotels. If the seminar you have booked is already fully booked, we will inform you immediately.

Your registration is considered accepted if we have not declared rejection within 14 days of receipt of the registration. There is no general entitlement to participate; we reserve the right to participate in individual cases. With your registration, you agree to participate in the entire seminar. We do not reimburse any costs for late arrivals or early departures. The currently valid seminar fees are listed in the current seminar program. The prices of the seminar program valid at registration apply. The seminar fee includes the seminar script & the break meals, as well as a confirmation of attendance at the seminar.

You organize / book and pay for your arrival/departure and overnight stay (s) yourself. The seminar fee must be transferred no later than 14 days before the start of the seminar; In the case of short-term seminar registrations, the amount must be paid immediately. You will receive an invoice with your registration confirmation. Payment is made without any deductions. If the seminar fee is not settled in time, the seminar certificate will be retained and special seminar offers will be withdrawn.

Cancellation and changes by the participant

Before the seminar starts, you can cancel or rebook your booked seminar or name a substitute:

Substitution

You have the opportunity to name a substitute participant up to 48 hours before the start of the seminar, provided that they meet the requirements for participation; here too, we reserve the right to participation in individual cases.

Rebooking

You can rebook one time free of charge for another, equivalent seminar no later than 2 weeks before the start of the seminar.
The announcement of which seminar you will be rebooking must be received by us within one week of the rebooking. After these deadlines, a rebooking will be treated as a cancellation.

Cancellation

You can withdraw from the contract. In the event of cancellation, we charge the following processing fees:
Cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the seminar: free of charge
Cancellation 14 days or more before the start of the seminar: 50% of the participation fee; if the registered participant does not show up, 100% of the participation fee.

The receipt of the rebooking or cancellation by us is decisive for the point in time. The appointment of a substitute, a rebooking, or a cancellation can only be made by means of a written message, fax, or e-mail.

Cancellation of seminars by MED-TRONIK GmbH

We reserve the right to cancel seminars due to an insufficient number of participants (no later than 10 days before the planned seminar date) or for other important reasons for which we are not responsible (e.g. sudden illness of the speaker, force majeure).
If in exceptional cases, a seminar has to be canceled, the paid participation fee will be refunded immediately.
Further liability and claims for damages are excluded unless these are based on willful or grossly negligent behavior by our legal representatives or employees or other vicarious agents. This also applies to the booking of hotels and flights or train tickets.

Subject to change

We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the content and organization and deviations before or during the seminar, provided that these do not significantly change the overall character of the announced seminar.
We also reserve the right to change the dates or times printed in the current seminar program and the seminar location. We will inform the registered participants immediately about any necessary changes.
We are entitled to appoint the planned speakers e.g. in the event of illness to be replaced by other equally qualified persons with regard to the announced topic if this is necessary. In case of doubt, it is up to us to provide evidence of such qualification.

These general terms and conditions apply from January 1st, 2017; earlier general terms and conditions are hereby invalid.

Due to the ever-changing Covid19 situation, seminars may be canceled on short notice. Registered seminar attendees will be notified by e-mail. Cancellations or postponements will also be reflected on this page.
